Cookie notice
One essential identity, no ad tracking
Last updated: 15 August 2026
Essential cookie
RWReset sets awr_actor, a first-party Secure and HttpOnly cookie containing a random actor identifier and a cryptographic signature. It lasts for up to one year unless you remove it. JavaScript in the page cannot read it.
The cookie is necessary to keep one stable Builder number, enforce per-cycle reset limits, prevent duplicate votes and show your own submissions. It is not an OpenAI login and does not contain your name, email, password or Codex account data.
No advertising profile
The current MVP does not set analytics, advertising, cross-site profiling or marketing cookies and does not use browser localStorage or sessionStorage for identity. Cloudflare may process network and security signals, and may set strictly necessary protection cookies if a security feature is triggered.
Why no banner appears
The site currently uses only storage required to provide the service and security functions requested by the visitor. A consent banner would be added before RWReset introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or personalization storage where consent is required.
Your controls
You can delete awr_actor in your browser settings. Doing so creates a new anonymous actor on the next request: your previous numbered identity and ownership view may no longer be available, but public content already submitted does not automatically disappear. Use the privacy report to request review or deletion.
More information
See the Privacy Notice for data purposes, recipients, retention and rights. This notice will be updated before the site materially changes its browser-storage practices.
